Today was wonderfully warm. I was able to spend most of the afternoon in the garden cleaning up some of the garden beds and looking forward to the blooms of early spring. The weeping cherry is one of my favorites.
Seeing pictures of tulips and pansies makes me wish to be in the garden. As the days lengthen we will soon be able to welcome these blooms into our lives once again. With the snow flying outside the window and the temperatures hovering near the 10 degree mark all I can do now is study the garden catalogs and wish for the flowers of spring.
Wife, mother, grandmother, accountant and gardener. I have been a gardener for over 30 years, but after discovering daylilies the garden has expanded to contain my growing collection. It is a real source of enjoyment for me. I love sharing it with others and delight in finding someone who shares my love of this flower. This will be a journal of my garden as it changes with the seasons.
